6. I don't think it's crazy that Fla may swing back to Kerry's side.
There, I said it. I believe it. The current tally as of this writing shows Fla as:

Bush: 3,796,089
Kerry: 3,427,885

It is well within the realm of the reasonable that Kerry could take Florida with that many votes, yet to count.

God help us, god help this country.

17. A million votes more than the 7.2 million shown in FL already?
That would mean 8.2 million votes in FL, up from the 6.1 million ballots cast in the 2000 FL presidential election.

There were about 5.1 million votes in the FL 2002 gubernatorial election.

That 8.2 million would be an enormous increase, and somewhat unbelievable.

8. Didn't FLA people vote absentee in order to avoid Diebold voting?
Sounds hopeful to me.

9. Dude...
No offense. I don't want to quit either. But lets use reason. Even if there are 1.2 million absentee ballots, we're down 350,000 votes in Florida. Do you really think the 1.2 million are gonna come back 2 to 1 for Kerry (800,000 to 400,000)? There is no reason or logic to support that. They will probably be fairly consistent with the situation that existed in the state, i.e. close to a split either way. They may have stole this election, but the absentees aren't gonna save us.

12. The only way we will know if the
votes come back 2 to 1 or split, or 3 to 1 is to count them. Are you saying they shouldn't be counted?

14. Why are the absentee ballots uncounted?
As a pollwatcher in Pennsylvania last night, I sat there watching as the judge of elections slit open every envelope, pull every absentee ballot out, unfold it, read off every vote while the clerks and inspectors did tallies of them.

They didn't submit the vote count to the county elections board until every absentee ballot was counted.

In my county, at least, all absentee ballots are given to the precinct polling place where the absentee voters vote. No vote count of any kind can be submitted without them.

Provisionals, on the other hand, don't START getting counted for three days after the election.
