1. I think Edwards just might pull off a second place finish |
|
I think about 5 points will separate the top 3 finishers
and I wouldn't be surprised to see Dean come in 4th.
but even with a 3rd place finish, it just goes to show that this race is far from being over.

5. I can't quite imagine an Edwards win |
|
If he did, you would have to think that organization was almost meaningless this year. Kerry has a healthy mix of momentum and organization going into the final week and anyone who doubt he can turn out his supporters need just review tape of the JJ dinner in Iowa 2 months ago. His supporters were second only to Dean and he's got a huge army of firefighters and vets canvassing teh state for him.

i, personally, am getting really tired of all the "crystal ball" posts- who will drop out next, who will pick who for veep. i think it make us look petty, like the whore media. i try not to avoid them. but this one is a new low.

While listening to the MH's today I couldn't help but laugh as they despaired over how bizarre the electoral situation is in Iowa. They were just amazed about how fluid and changeable the polls and turn-outs for candidates are. It must be really sad for these rightwing paid hacks to realize they can no longer dictate to the unwashed masses who (when and where) and will be anointed. Me, I'm loving this democracy at its best horse race!! :D
