The repukes don't care. The only want money, damn peoples' lives should they get in the way of 'their' money. They don't care about the US' infrastructure. I doubt if we will collapse per-se, we will just get bought out a piece at a time, until there is a majority of the country owned by foreign investors. This trend started in the eighties, when Reagan vetoed the freedom of information for foreign investment bill, and has been snowballing ever since.
