Anyone else feeling more fired up now?
I definitely am. Perhaps because I had it in my vision that we needed to continue the fight regardless of who got elected.

It's OK to feel depressed. It's OK to feel defeated (for a few days...)

But it's not OK to feel alone. If you take the results at face value, nearly HALF the country is on your side.

If you believe (like me) that voter supression and dirty tricks were involved, then OVER HALF the country is on your side.

Take heart in the work you've done, it made a difference.

Take a breather if you need it, you've earned it.

Then come back and fight the good fight -- any way you can. With your time, with your money, with your faith.

3. No ...
.... actually I feel more like offering all of America that voted for the punkass a rather rigid middle finger.

It's going to take me a few days to get my balance. As of this moment, I've lost all interest in politics - feeling that this election was probably stolen and nobody is going to do fuck-all about it.

4. I am, because I just remembered, earlier, that I am a hemmorhoid.
I am a slacker when not challenged, but when fucked with I am a flaming cuss with a mean streak, I will outlast your ass to see you walk out the door ahead of me, then i get bored and go.

It made me smile. I am a fighter, in fact, I do better when there is a fight than when there is peace. I think our party as a whole is, because, when there is peace, by God, we are happy and enjoy ourselves (translation: rest on our laurels). However, repukes don't do this, since they NEVER have inner peace and therefore never are happy, so they never rest.

7. Not really
Uh, exactly what difference did it make. We now have lost the moral high ground that * was never elected President as he was yesterday!

Fired up...not really!

Pissed off...definitely!!

11. Again, he was!!
I don't like it, but he was.

Instead of denying it and blaming Diebold, we must determine why we failed to defeat the WORST PRESIDENT EVER!

13. We have to take it all in. Diebold likely was a factor.
If they are rigging the vote, there is *no way* we'll ever win again, no matter how successful we are at getting our votes to the polls.

We *have* to know the answer to that.

16. what are you on?
compare exit polls to the results, the numbers don't jibe and they never will.

"We" did not lose to that.

And it's Accenture and Sequoia as well.

Whatever blame we own lies in our failure to fight against BBV. We won't make this mistake again.

20. Blaming it on the Machines is the easy way out.
If more voters were convinced that our candidate were better the better choice, the Diebold issue would be moot.

It's far easier to blame them than to really look at the underlying problems that really cost us the election.

I'm just wondering...

It's only one small step in getting our country back, but it could do a lot along the lines of increasing awareness.

17. No. Not until the Democrats offer us a candidate that stands for US!
Not one that will pander like Kerry did. Not one that will flip-flop on the issues like Kerry did. One that will have a backbone and actually STAND up to President Bush........

If they don't, I leave.

Maybe it's time for a revolution not WITHIN our country...but within this party? This is TWO elections the DLC has cost us in a row!

18. Yep. You seem fired up. It may be we need to do what you say.
I'm not suggesting any particular strategy at this point. Just a desire to make change for the better.

Discussions on issues like you raise need to happen.
