Don't give up: Beat Santorum in 2006
I started this blog Tuesday. There are two years until the next Senate election, and Rick Santorum, well, he represents the worst of the very bad. And I think he may be in line to take over hte neo-con throne. Organize, don't agonize.

6. Not Rendell
Kukovich is a progressive who just lost his State Senate seat in a dirty campaign, but he'd play perfectly in most of the state. Barbara Hafer might run--she's a former puke but fairly progressive with a lot of support among women. I would love to run, but I'm sticking with pushing the healthcare issue and I can't be partisan in doing it. Billy King might run--Sixers president--and Chris Mathews is apparently very interested. All of these are stronger candidates than Hoeffel, though Joe did a decent job despite his campaign.

Santorum would be a great race. It would be good vs. evil, with both sides thinking they are the good side. And we will win this one.
