Jesus Has Been Crucified
Jesus is now dead. All he taught us, all he lived and died for has now been transmorgified by the Devil Rove/Bush/Cheney for power and plunder and profit.

For all the talk about Christ, the Christian right does not know him. All they know is how to throw stones at others - Mary Magdalene is now a lesbian who wants to marry. They are deaf to the Sermon on the Mount - you cannot turn the other cheek and vote to kill 100,000 innocent Iraqis - it is a baseles incongruity of the greatest magnitude. Don't tax them to provide services to others in need - they'll substitute the pennies of their pompous charity for the dollars that might just work. You can sin and be forgiven but you are forever damned if you do not seek forgiveness from God and you are a bad person no matter how many good works you do. The Road to Jericho is paved with passing priests and lebensraum levites. It takes a liberal to be a Good Samaritan.

1. I hear the words
"why hast thou forsaken me?"
"leave me, I know you not"

2. I think our "mainstream" churches on the Protestant Side should have
gotten into this long ago. They have sent out "Position Papers" on the Iraq Invasion, but they never will go and attack the "heart of the beast." Falwell and the Religious Right. I think it goes back to something inbred from the "Reformation."

But...they should have confronted Falwell and the rest years ago. Our insitutions are failing us by being weak and non-confrontational...it only serves their own purposes and not the congregation which they are losing in the "Mainstreams" to the Fundamentalist/Evangelical Churches.

Yet they sit and study their belly buttons while all goes straight to hell..
