Professional Election Workers
Isn't it time that we had people professionally dedicated to the election process? These would be federal employees who sole purpose is to create, monitor, fail test, audit, and run all federal elections. They would be full time employees under the Judicial branch or Congress.

They would train election poll workers so that we don't have the numerous clusterfucks from yesterday. It's time to start spending money on the fucking elections to get:

1. uniform system
2. accountable infrastructure
3. less clusterfucks

Well....?

2. No. But young people doing it.
I would hate to see the program Federalized and made Centrally Corrupt.

I think we could make a huge diffence if people around age 30 would work the polls. If young people got used to seeing each other at the polls, it would be a whole different experience....

3. Need to standardize the system
The fucking polls need to have a professional on site so that the volunteers aren't fucking with the cell phone to HQ or bumbling with the e-vote machine or unable to find names on the voter roles.

It's time to get a centralized handle on this shit.

4. The behavior by volunteer Republican pollwatchers was EGREGIOUS
in the two precincts I watched on Election Day. And the judges of elections were so busy sorting out registration snafus and helping people through the provisional ballot process that they weren't calling the repugs on their behavior. Till I, as Democratic pollwatcher, asked them to, that is!

(I'm filing a complaint with the Elections Board about at least one of these people).

The pollworkers were too overworked on a busy day to notice some monkeybusiness that just appalled me -- there should be more of them, especially when huge crowds are expected ... and YES, the voting system should be federally standardized. It's too important to the whole country not to do that.
