We should NOT be trying to "kill off" the "liberal" word. We should be EMBRACING IT.

If we're going to "move to the right" or change our core beliefs just to "peel votes" from the right, why not just JOIN and BECOME the right?

INVASIONS and OCCUPATIONS are NOT moral values.

GENOCIDE is NOT a moral value.

LYING our family, friends, and neighbors to WAR is NOT a moral value.

WAR PROFITEERING is NOT a moral value.

GREED is NOT a moral value.

DISENFRANCHISING HALF your own country is NOT a moral value.

FORCING your BELIEFS on anyone is NOT a moral value.

5. I don't have a problem with quoting Jesus.

It's true that much of what Jesus taught jibes with progressive thought.

As long as dems don't promote POLICIES that FORCE ALL OF US to follow the edicts of Christianity. That would be immoral and unconstitutional.

Pointing out that the MORAL VALUES held by Jesus ARE NOT warmongering, hatred, racism, bigotry etc; His and OUR moral values are such things as KINDNESS, LIBERTY, FREEDOM; that is what we should be doing, imo.

Our children shouldn't be going to sleep at night with tummies sore from hunger.

Our elderly shouldn't be forced to go without their medications because they can't afford to buy them.

Our kids shouldn't be lying dead or dismembered from wars for corporate greed.

Being strong doesn't mean being an arrogant raging bully.

Being respected doesn't mean being hated or feared.

Being the party of LIBERTY and FREEDOM doesn't mean being rightwingnut Lite.
