So, let's hit them back, hard.
I've seen a couple good ways of fucking over the Republican ownership class in these forums tonight, and if enough good people can come together on these... we can make them PAY! But, for some of us, we will have to give up some of our own materialism, if just a wee bit.
General Strikes: The tool of choice in democratic France and pre-gladnosk-era Eastern Europe for social change and progress. They work and the result is the highest standard of living and wages for workers in France, while freedom became the prize for the Eastern Europeans. So, if making your Republican ass-hole of a boss squirm over loss productivity for the week you're out sounds like just desserts, this is the plan for you. Yet, there's a larger strategy inherent in a general strike, and that is to make the owners examine the efficacy of gifting fascists with a chunk of dough guaranteed to make at least half their workforce seeth with resentment.
Boycotts or Buy Nothing Weeks: Nothing turns the head of a business owner more than seeing numbers on this months sales report be less than sales for the month before. Too bad- stop supporting fascists for our elective offices and we'll start buying your crap, again, as useless as it usually is. Build it yourself, make it yourself, grow it yourself--- but don't buy it during the week we buy nothing. No cars, no bikes, no golf clubs, no Gap, no nothing!
If the above two plans are just the beginning, then the logical conclusion to these anti-state and anti-corporate strategies is the big one itself; Revolution. Revolting, isn't it? But, it is looking more and more like the only move we have left. Say you wanna?
