What will bush supporters do when they discover the truth??? |
|
In a September poll by the University of Maryland, majorities of Bush supporters expressed support for multilateral approaches to security, including the United States being part of:
-the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (68%)
-the International Criminal Court (75%)
- the treaty banning land mines (66%)
-and the Kyoto Treaty on climate change (54%).
The problem is that most of these Bush supporters aren't aware that Bush opposes these positions.
Will the feeble weak rightwingnut bush supporter sheeple fold like wet noodles and fall in behind bush, ignoring their own beliefs?
Yep, betcha.

And they will, as they always have done, fold like the weak little things they are, and OPPOSE those same issues when they do find out bush-god opposes them.
Like they were AGAINST nation-building (social work as foreign policy, they sneered) and now are FOR nation-building.
Like they were AGAINST big spending, and now are FOR big spending.
Like they were AGAINST big government and now are FOR big government.
Like they were AGAINST Big Brother and now are FOR Big Brother.
It's just more proof to show what WEAK AND FEEBLE little SHEEPLE the rightwingnuts are. And I plan to keep pointing out what weak & feeble little wet noodles they are. :)

|
how weak and feeble the democratic message is, and the people who are trying to communicate it.

8. I think if you stuck a questionaire... |
|
...in their face, then yes, they probably would say that most of the things in your first post are a worthy endeavors. But I don't think those are core issues with them. As for your last post, the things you outlined used to be core issues with conservatives. It sure doesn't look like that now, but as you said, they are willing to lose all principle, as long as their savior is elected.
But with electronic voting, how do we really know what the people think or how they vote? We're no longer a Republic. We're now an Imperium.

... that the greatest threat facing the world is Ellen Degeneres and her harlot hoardes spreading the lesbian plague, running so rampant that schoolgirls in Kansas (that red state hotbed of gaydom) must go the the bathroom alone lest they be accosted by their hot-blooded, same sex schoolmates?
Um... what was all that other stuff you were talking about?

9. Same thing they did with Bush41 |
|
In the 91 Iraq war he consitently chose a course of action that only had about 20% support when you asked people about the options, but in the end they always deferred to "support our president".
* will just bully nthrough whatever he wants, and millions of people who should have better sense will just "support the president".

10. If asked to choose they will, but basically who really cares? |
|
Treaties and alliances and such diplomatic mumbo jumbo never much concern the ordinary American ostrich.

12. Bush supporters don't care. |
|
They care about the following things:
* Gays are of the devil * Abortion is of the devil * Middle Easterners are of the devil * Islam is of the devil * Liberals are of the devil * Jesus hates gays, abortion, Middle Easterners, Islam and liberals * George Bush hates gays, abortion, Middle Easterners, Islam and liberals * George Bush is God's spokesman on earth * God will use George Bush to keep me safe from evil
Nothing else penetrates their hate-filled world.
