those dudes are beholden to their advertisers now so they are often kept from saying things like boycott because it is essentially saying they want to help dry up their own source of existence.

2. No problem with the price of gas and heating oil still high

and likely to stay that way, we have no disposable income left over. Besides who can celebrate with another rigged election, new conservative Supreme court appointment on the horizon, and with the polar ice cap melting, all the reindeer and the elves are taking ill and Santa can't get a flu shot for them or Mrs Santa, anytime soon. Like heat or food, gas to get to work or prescription meds necessary to be able to work. It's heat or eat, one of the two, a gallon of milk or a gallon of gas. I have wood for the fireplace and we can always throw some weenies on.
