I propose we all DUCC!
That is, become part of a "Democratic Underground Coordinated Campaign."

We're all ready to do something, but we don't quite know how to begin.

Let's think about it; when we saw campaign fraud in Florida, we acted, and damn if it didn't get noticed and someone had to resign.

When we saw deliberate disenfranchisement in Ohio, we acted, and it made enough of a difference to make sure they knew we were onto them, possibly preventing further abuse.

We've sent thousands of letters, e-mails, etc; made thousands of calls, you name it.

All it requires is a membership to DU and a willingness to do something, and you already have that. The important thing is that we act as members of DU, particularly when dealing with Democratic Party issues.

We all have issues with how the campaign and election went, many of which seem to have occurred in several places.

I propose that we start including in our SLs the letters DUCC if you want us to act on it. That way we can get our crack team of researchers and writers on it (everybody) right away.

If this looks like it's effective, perhaps we can step it up a notch and make the DNC take some notice of us.

I even have an idea for our logo, but that's for later!

You in?

1. I'm in.
However, I must warn you that I am a Green, not a Dem. That said, I feel the only Green national agenda will have to come from the Dems. The Repukes don't care. The only way to advance a Green agenda is to make it economically feasible.

That's why I wholeheartedly support the Stop Red State Welfare campaign. If rural areas and states have to fend for themselves, they will see the logic in biomass fuels and their unique position to supply that market. Increased productivity and autonomy for them, less money out of blue state pockets, and cleaner environment for all of us.
