Just got a call from the RNC Business Committee inviting me to dinner with the pResident, not a recording, but a real person (on an auto-dialer obviously).

She didn’t get her whole message said because I burst out guffawing, which wasn’t cool I guess, but she surprised me. Once I got control of myself, I told her “No way, mam! GOOD – BYE!.”

On reflection, I might have just trashed an opportunity to network for a job, which would have been nice, but, then, you never know with these Republicans whether there’s something in it for you or not, but you do know what happens the first time they need a layoff. Oh well, I decided yesterday that “the center” is a myth. I used to believe and talk about the 3rd way; I think now you just get taken advantage of with that, by both sides.
