It's early but I may be leaning towards Clark in '08 |
|
As I say it is early and don't know if he is going to run or not. USA Today says he wants to "stay active", but Clark might be a good choice. From Arkansas, military background, magnetic personality, good speaker, and politically alot like Clinton.
I was for Howard Dean in '04, but right now I feel he would be best serving the party as DNC Chairman, but I might still be peraudable for Dean if he did run again.
I do think Clark might want to explore running for Gov of Arkansas in 2006, to demonstrate his electability before running for President.
I still think a Clark/Dean ticket would be potential dynamite.

president? not yet. I don't think Clark would be good for what we need in 2008. Then again, if he gets himself elected governor, it could work.

I think John Edwards is the man. He has a message people can connect to, and that could make him the next Clinton or FDR.

3. Whoever it is, it needs to be someone with an uncomplicated persona. |
|
It has to be someone people look at and think, "yes, I understand this person's motivations and personality."

6. Clark/Dean.... Clark/Obama.... it's all good. |
|
On the one hand, the AR governorship would certainly be a feather in his cap, and he could do amazing things in even one year... but I wonder if it is just too short a time? He'd need to run for prez for a full two years.
