My younger brother is a graduate of one of the service acadamies and a decorated veteran. He's also gay. His partner of 22 years is one of the finest men I have ever met. My wife, our two young sons and I have visited them several times, and stayed in their home. Our marriage was not threatened. Why in the Hell would I reach out to a man who wants to strip my little brother of the same rights that all Americans should enjoy? My uncle has Parkinson's Disease. I have nothing but contempt for an individual who, for purely political reasons, is more concerned about the well-being of a clump of cells WHICH THE IN-VITRO CLINIC IS GOING TO DESTROY ANYWAY, then he is for my uncle. Reach out? The only reaching out I intend to show George Bush will come on January 20, 2005, and there will be an extended middle finger at the end of each arm!
