Youth Turnout was the highest since 1972.
In that election, McGovern lost in a landslide, and the nation reminded its youth that they did not matter...

The media is trying to do this to us again by telling us we didn't show up when we did. 21 million strong. 52% turnout. 4.6 million more than 4 years ago - a 10% increase in turnout. In the battleground states, the youth vote had 60% turnout.

Blame it on the kids, who account for more than half the American soldiers killed in Iraq.

Thanks.

1. Thanks DjTj
Good to hear that, as another under 30 voter. The youth came through for Kerry - bigtime! It was the genXers, boomers, and seniors who all thought everything was swell with the chimp.

Also remember that 18-29 was the *only* age bracket that went Kerry.

4. that's good, i'm saddened that people jumped on us first
especially when the 60 and up went to *.

Without my age group, it would have been way worse.

5. Yes. Very unsettling. Almost as worrisome and minority voters. nt
