GW news conference more of the same (moved )
Well if anyone of us, had any sense that Bush would, after his so called mandate from the little people, extend his hand out to the dems in an attempt to heal or find common ground, I think the press conference this morning closed the book on that ever happening.

Topics (and I take the liberty to paraphrase and fill in the blanks)

Bi-partisanship- fuck no- I will work with those in the democratic party that agree with me

Supreme Court- I will appoint a judge who agrees with my point of view. "He" must carry with him the old testament into court and interpret it verbatim

Social Security- I will privatize it so don't even bother getting in my way any way their all senile.

Gay Marriage- We will fix that discussion once and for all!

Foreign policy- I'll extend my hand for them to kiss, but more importantly let's get to the killin, come on now, I got $70B to spend!

Draft- All but a certainty, (reference foreign policy)

Deficit spending- to continue at the expense of social programs, but KBR's 401K program will be fully funded.

Old folk- sorry you don't add much to the discussion or the economy, your in the category of "poor people" how live off the fat of others, sorry priorities are elsewhere, better luck with the next administration.

Israel- There a good cement customer
