SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Two days after the Democrats took at drubbing at the polls across the country, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger referred to leaders of the state's majority party as ``losers.''

At a Thursday news conference, the Republican governor who branded Democrats ``girlie men'' during a budget fight last year was asked whether he would listen to tax-increase proposals from Senate President Pro Tem Don Perata or other Democratic leaders.

``Why would I listen to losers?'' Schwarzenegger asked. ``Let's be honest.''

Arnold, chief girlie man Schwarzenegger seems to forget that although his recall election which allowed him in office without having to go through a complete election cycle(in other words the back door) it wasn't the votes of republicans that put him in office. You cannot be a blue state and call your state republican. It was the democrats rounding off the voter tallies that allowed him in without anyone ever getting a good look at what a miserable fraud he was then and continues to be now. There is going to be a time when Arnold will need the support of democrats and he still thinks he can get it through intimidation tactics and school-boy name calling. We'll see. It is the wrong thing to do after such a painful defeat to start stepping on toes. Bad form Arnold. Thought you would have gotten it by now.
