Religion bashed me before I bashed religion....

...it was a clear cut case of self-defense.

And I say that as a person who is tired of religion being used as a tool of oppression.

I have nothing at all against those sects of religion that believe in not trying to impose their beliefs on the rest of us, but it has become clear to me that in America at least, those sects don't represent the majority of those who identify themselves as religious.

Have I bashed religion? Most likely I have, but it wasn't because I wanted to pick a fight with it. It brought the fight to me first.
