We KNOW what we're up against; what do we DO?

We already know that the media sucks. They're either lazy or corrupt, and in some cases both.

We already know that we need better talking points. We need those nasty little email messages that say things like "Laura's using her ketchup company to fund terrorists."

We know that the voting machines in most states are tampered with -- possibly ALL of them.

We know that we have to recapture the Christian vote, even those Christians who are moderates. Blessed are the peacemakers -- we already know that there's not a goddamned thing ABOUT * that's Christian.

We need charismatic representatives who'll stand up and fight, ESPECIALLY when it's unpopular. That's how monds get changed.

We need to frame the debate. Catchy three-word talking points are appealing. Persoanlly, I think that this is why Bush "won."

There are no doubt many other things we need to face and fix, and we only have two years to do it in.

So how do we do it? All I've come up with on my own is to go down to my party HQ and take on a role -- not as a canvasser or rallier, but as a leader. We need some other creative, constructive ideas around here, though.

waste their time, waste their resources, replenish it with nothing but indifference, apathy, escapism.

when a hurricane comes, don't donate. when a flood comes, don't build sandbags. when terrorism happens at home blithely walk by and shrug. let america play the unilateralist game to the hilt -- it's what they want right? go ahead, let them leave the UN, let them remove the only veto that spares us from being voted into extinction. let them squander all diplomatic clout and be rendered irrelevant. let them spend this nation into penury. let their cries of anguish fall on the now deaf ears of 'the conscience' of america.

endless compassion for the world, not a drop for america. we have sealed our fate, and no tears shall fall from these eyes... let the psycho conservative cultists call it the "tough love" they espouse so much.
