Just throw it my face......
Damn, all day I have had people throwing the election in my face. I generally don't discuss politics with colleagues, given that every damn doctor in Arizona is a repug. Just creates animosity in the workplace. They just assume I am an ignorant selfish bible thumper and engage me in conversations about the joy of shrub.

Then to top it off I get an office load of republicans. Every patient today with a bush pin. I even got a few anti-lib jokes. I try to keep a professional tone and not discuss politics with patients. But, there again I have to grin an bear it.

Anyone else stuck having to listen to repugs gloat over the chimp's victory. I am ready to go postal.......:evilfrown:

1. Remember...
more people may have voted for him than any other president but...
more people voted AGAINST him than any other president as well.

Mandate, my ass.

I'm getting sick of this shit ALREADY. :(

3. I am facing an annual birthday get-together
Saturday night with a couple of repuke friends from way, way back, and I intend to tell them first thing that I will not discuss politics or the election. They are not going to ruin my evening.

5. I feel your pain.
I worked for ten months in a small office with three of the most stupid freepers on the planet. They listened to Rush in the morning and Hannity in the afternoon. They plastered the walls with photos of the chimp. Words cannot describe how horrible it was. I have never felt so relieved as the day I walked out of there.

6. I've had to....
I just started a new job, and my republican co-workers don't realize that making a pro-Bush statement to me is liable to get you an hour-long rant about what an evil bastard he is.

I swear, if I hadn't been there for only three weeks, I'd forward these pictures to everyone in that office:

And then ask them, "Why don't you tell these Iraqi children why you voted for George Bush?"

8. I'm making this a quiet weekend
I'm going to one of my alternate establishments, where I don't know a lot of people on Friday. I have to get up early and train on Saturday. I may not be feeling terribly peaceful if I encounter a Bush* supporter.
