The REAL Bush, the BULLY came out today |
|
in his press conference. Basically, he's gonna do what he WANTS to do and it's up to people to follow him. He is going to spend his capital as he puts it, because he has the people's mandate. This is not the same man we saw in press conferences before the election. THIS is the man who rushed to war because he WANTED to! I can't believe he's getting another four years to screw with us. I HATE his arrogance. He's basically laying down the gauntlet to scare away opposition. I wonder if there are any brave folks left in Congress to stop him????

1. I saw the same Bush* you saw |
|
and I am still using that asterisk.
Here's his message. I won. I have political capital. I will use that capital to ramrod my agenda. You know the agenda. Social Security, tax reform.
I also saw Kay Bailey Hutchinson last night. She sent the same tacit message. What the Dems will have to do to work with them. Everyone saw what happened to Daschle. He was an obstructionist (Inference: try running obstruction as did Daschle and you will face the same political demise). Talked about appointing judges to the Supreme Court. Dems not letting them have straight up or down votes.
Yesterday's message of unity is now clear. Do it our way or hit the highway (like Daschle).
If the Democrats cannot obstruct, the people who voted against Bush* (and there's probably a lot more than we know judging by some of these other threads) need to unite and run direct interference. We can do this by looking into state laws on how to impeach Congressmen and Senators. This association of voters on issues can be called the "Other One World Order of Voters on Issues" -- you catch my drift. It can be issue-related as opposed to simply partisan. There are many voters from all sides who do not approve of Bush*s radical reforms. If we unite, we can obstruct. If our Dems are too few to do it, we will have to do it ourselves.
