with the kind of thugs that resurrect the Vietnam War 35 years later for political gain? How the hell do you make peace with the kind of thugs that call your candidate Hanoi John, despite his voluntary service in a war that he learned was senseless? How do you make peace with the kinds of thugs who still call Jane Fonda names, in spite of her own regrets for the past? How do you make peace with these people when they now try to justify the unjustifiable and remind all of us of the very worst of our own demons? The divisions of that era are now back with us. Now, I hate many of the same veterans that I served with. It's a sad situation.
