I mean it. I just finished looking at all your photos in the Lounge, and would pass you on the street and not know you are JUST LIKE ME. Does anyone else do that? Pass strangers in the mall or somewhere and wonder if they're like-minded?

The only - and I mean ONLY - comfort I have had the last 48 hours has been on this board. I spent the last two days blaming myself for not doing more for our troops, and not doing more for my future children and their lives. I cannot even begin to tell you what a good feeling it is to know that I am not alone in my grief and anger and sorrow. It is because of this group that I feel like I can talk to people who totally "get" me and begin to move on so we can concentrate on the next election. And there will be a tomorrow and a next election.

DUers, WE ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS FIGHT. I love all of you, and thank you so much for being here for me. Despite my frustration, I know that by far, this is the greatest country in the entire world, and we have overcome shit a lot worse than George W. Bush. It's hard to imagine, but he isn't anything fucking special. Let's take time to grieve for the future of our beloved United States of America, then let's collect ourselves and use our heads and our hearts to guide us.

To George W. Bush and your idiotic followers who troll our boards: if you thought this would temporarily depress us, you were right. We will never forget what you've done to our country...OUR country. But if you thought for a SECOND that we would roll over and hand you this country, you've got another thing coming. We will be depressed for awhile yes, but make no mistake: your asses are being put on notice RIGHT NOW. This war isn't even CLOSE to being over yet.
