So why isn't anybody celebrating ?
Repugs are a strange lot. They own the world. They now will have control of all branches of the US government. They believe that there is no one who can stand in their way. You would think they would be delirious with joy? That they would be dancing in the streets. Yet Tuesday night has the map of the US turned from white to red, you can feel the joy being sucked out of the universe.

Now instead of basking in the afterglow of their victory, they are miserable. They are hateful. And all they can do is figure out new ways to break things. They are like spoiled little brats, who will never be satisfied, even when they have broken all of their restraints.

Look at this man.

There is no joy in his heart. All he can think of is who can he screw next. This is not the face of a man who is one with god. This is the face of a man who knows only darkness. This is the face of an anti-christ.

1. I've noticed that in my home town
There should be a lot of smiling faces. I know I'd be brimming, if Kerry had won (or at least not conceded early).

Yet, to look at the faces, you'd think everyone in my town voted for Kerry.

By the way, that pic is obscene.

3. Beaming?
Heck I would have been hugging total strangers because I couldn't contain my joy. Tuesday afternoon in the grocery store, I was just about dancing down the aisles buying stuff for the election party I was giving that night.

I just wish these faith-based fundies would get a better fantasy, or that the rapture would hurry up and come, before they totally destroy the place.

5. Oh geez DYEW...that's kinda sad..you were joyful in the store
over an EXPECTED win? That makes me really really sad...again dammit.

So WHY do you (anyone) think the FASCISTS weren't joyful?? That is curious.

I haven't been out of my house to even look yet (though I live in a "Blue Area") Hmmm, just had a thought. When I DO go out, I have these make 'em yourself badges; I'll make up slogans that represent my "feelings" and wear them proudly on my clothing. Also putting my anti-bush anti-fascism bumper stickers back on my vehicle. }(

6. Republicans are...
...less demonstrative, more reserved than Democrats are, I think. It's a political culture thing. Also, Democrats have been out of power and the GOP voters never really believed that incumbent Bush would lose.
