WE ARE THE GREATEST COME-BACK KIDS EVER!
Remember last May, "mission accomplished"???

EVERYONE said NO ONE would EVER beat bush and hey why bother even having the 2004 election!

SHOO-IN! they all said. LANDSLIDE! they all said.

Heh. BOY did WE fuck em up!!!

bush won with the SLIMEST MARGIN of ANY WAR PRESIDENT IN US HISTORY!!!

bush only got ONE PERCENT over 50%!!! ONLY ONE PERCENT, people!!!

A RECORD NUMBER of voters said HELL NO to bush!!!

And only 6 months ago, EVERYONE said NO ONE could possibly come close to bush.

But we did. DAMN close. You KNOW we scared the fcking CRAP outta them for a long time. And we aren't gonna stop, are we. No, that's not a question. :)

I understand they're weeping and licking their wounds in the White House even as we speak. It must be terrible for them. I don't know how they'll ever get over it.

Sorry. I mean, I admire your optimism. But to paraphrase David Cross, it's a lot like cheering that you make Minimum Wage: "Yeah, they'd like to pay me less, but they can't. Yay! I win!"
