What is in the way of the Neocons now?
The moderate and fiscal Conservatives are all but powerless in their own party

The Democrats look to be in disarray again, and I fear that there will be a play to make the party more "Republican" and certainly under more control of corporate interests.

Unions power in politics has been effectively broken

The media is controlled and influenced to a large degree by corporations who's interests are allied to the Neocons in many areas.

There is not a lot of good will between many of Democrats and Nader and even, to a lesser degree, the Greens.

Environmental groups have been silenced by the media

Am I missing any?
