Which Stage is DU in Today?

The eight stages one experiences when a relationship ends are:

1. Denial

2. Anger/confusion

3. We can work it out

4. It’s over: Now to grieve

5. What went wrong

6. I’m not the same person

7. No going back

8. Peace

It seems like the Consolation Forum went straight to #3, 5 and 8. While this Mayhem and Madness Forum is in #2, 5 and 7.

I guess the majority here aren't really ending their relationship with the Democratic party, they want change. But maybe the time has come for a split. Two prominent Dems like Dean/Obama running as Independents could pull it in next time. I know, I know I'll be flamed for that suggestion. But I think it's doable. Dean has proven he can get the money and Obama has won over every single person I know who has listened to him. Think of all the different factions we could pull in with that ticket! The Dem Party Bosses would never allow it, so I say...go Independent.

I'm pissed and disappointed, but life goes on, and I'm not going to be obsessed over it for the next 2-4 years. Time to regroup and work on the future.
