Warning to Democratic Politicians

I don't think they yet have figured out what their silence during this regime (if not outright butt kissing) has cost us. In fact, if it wasn't for Dean igniting the Dems (and he was not my candidate in the primary), the final results of this election would be a total slaughter. They have utterly no excuse for the months before 9/11 when we wrote and pleaded with them to stand up against some of the godawful things Bush was already doing and we received "get over it" and "buzz off" letters from even the very liberal members of Congress.

If they go into 'silent' mode again, they don't have to bother showing up to run in '06 and '08. They will rally only limp support and even limper donations. They have to have their faces in the tv cameras screaming about everything Bush tries to shove through Congress and they have to stand together as they scream. Example: people didn't elect this douche bag so he could kill Social Security. When he goes for it, Dems need to remind the goddamn ignorant of this country that it is BUSH AND THE REPUBLICANS, BUSH AND THE REPUBLICANS, BUSH AND THE REPUBLICANS, because sure as shit in a couple years, the Republicans will tell the people that the Dems did it and they will believe them. I'll bet a whole pot of these voters don't have a clue that the repubs own the Congress so it has to be said to them at least once a day on at least one news network.

The people will be getting their throats cut over the next four years. We have to let them know who owns the knife. If they begin the "let's all work together with Bush" jargon, they can start finding another job.
