32. Support the rise of a viable Libertarian Party
The only way there can been a viable 3rd party on the left is if there is a corresponding 3rd (4th?) party on the right.

If not, the argument that you're stealing votes from the major candidate, and giving the election to the other side, will always prevail. But, if Greens and Libertarains pull equal percentages off... you get the picture.

They may be one of the only things standing between us and Bush. They need our support:

The American Civil Liberties Union is our nation's guardian of liberty. We work daily in courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States. More than thirty years after Roe v. Wade, the pro-choice movement is still fighting to protect and defend a woman’s right to choose. Unlike the other rights we expect as Americans, this is not one we can take for granted. NARAL Pro-Choice America is the only organization with a proven history and expertise to combat an aggressive anti-choice movement intent on taking away our rights and freedoms. With every political trend working against us, the fact is, the need for abortion will never go away until we, as a country, can achieve two of NARAL Pro-Choice America's goals: better access to more effective contraceptive options and better access to other kinds of reproductive health care and information.
