It would be nice to know if they are even trying or if they just said fuck it. They BETTER be doing something. Although it wouldn't most likely change the election they could prove he stole it.

4. I hope they are. I am sure they realize that even if it does
not help with this election we need to make sure these "problems and glitches" don't happen again in the future.

5. No.
They rolled over and played dead.
They are not even raising "stink" as Gore did.

7. Gore's stink played against him
they made him out to be a whiney sore loser. I hope and pray that they are working on something. The only way to accomplish this would be for them to lay low and not raise eyebrows. I too hope with all my heart, but am not letting that get my hopes up.

6. I believe they are. But the majority of us won't find out until they...
...pounce! If, that is to say, the uncover anything worth pouncing on.

We'll all find out before the 23rd, so there won't be much longer to wait.

Ohio and NM aren't in yet, the wheel's still in spin.

8. Bev Harris says to expect all of those attorneys to come out soon.
There's a sting operation/investigation going on. I think that's why things are so quiet.

14. Multiple organizations working on this.

Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 01:19 AM by BevHarris
My bet is that we'll see the lawyers we've been hearing about coming forward shortly. Outstanding work by Kathy Dopp, if you haven't seen it yet. This work alone cries for a paper ballot audit of the optical scan counties in Florida.

Serious anomalies with central tabulators are showing up, in dozens of Florida counties.

The ludicrous flaw of the day is, of course, the Broward central tabulator that counted backwards.

This is an effort of many talented organizations. It would be a mistake to assume that the coming meltdown was caused only by Black Box Voting, though I must admit that we do kick ass. What you're going to see is the result of we, the people, collectively mobilizing to take back our vote.

Here's another thing, while you're letting the word "fraud" roll off your tongue: We do not have to accept a fraudulent election. Drop the idea that it's too late to correct this mess. We have a great country, and it is in our nature to roll up our sleeves and tackle tough challenges. We must not shy away from that now, in this critical time.

10. Kerry is compromised.
Once again, let me inform you.

Kerry was the beneficiary of black box voting in Iowa.

How do you think he came out of nowhere to win the nomination?

Gephardt demanded a recount and was told there was no paper trail.

Get it?

12. No
The Iowa caucuses are a hand vote. There are no machines.

There was also a secret PAC. The Democrats running in the primaries raised $1 million to launch a campaign to destroy Dean. When Dean found out about this treachery he decided to leave the party. Only a conversation with Al Gore kept Dean in the battle.

Might have been another primary, and maybe Kerry didn't even know about it?

Oh PLEASE be true!

17. i doubt it
The reason they're quiet is because they're still trying to figure out why they lost and what their 'official' message should be about it.

And the Democrats are quiet because of one of many possibilities:

1) Shock
2) Awe
3) Grief
4) Dismay
5) Confusion
6) Disbelief
7) Fear
8) Miscellaneous
9) (the one I hope for)They're doing their homework.

I have to hand it to the Busheviks, though. They do know how to conduct politics as warfare. Attacking the Democrats while they are in disarray is classic Sun Tzu. They've done their homework. I hope the Democrats are doing theirs now.
