and history once again proved it works... the republcans did just that and road it to victory. We have all got to stick together and stop discussing forming other parties because you don't feel represented any longer in the democratic party. If we are going to succeed in ever having the kind of democracy we ALL desire, the last thing we need is to leave this well established party and join smaller ones. There will only be two successful parties in our political system, the democrats and the republicans. To join and vote with any other is defeating your goals and possibly that of the only party that can help you in your own cause. We in the democratic party are tolerant of those different than ourselves but there are a lot of people out there who do not feel the same. Timing and tolerance are both important issues.
