For once, I was glad to see a Republican win.
Goodbye, Tom Daschle. Now maybe we can get some REAL leadership.

No more red state minority leaders (at least, not until the Democrats take back the Senate and the Republicans are naming the minority leader). We need someone like Chris Dodd from Connecticut. Harry Reid from Nevada will be under the same Sword of Damocles that Daschle was: soften the Democrats' punches for the sake of his own re-election. No more.

1. Reid is a little better.
Nevada is almost blue. South Dakota...not even close.
