John Kerry should be senate minority leader.... |
|
Reid is too moderate and he will have to play safe as not to lose his senate seat in Nevada....I realize that it isn't protocal...but we need someone who has a SAFE senate seat and doesn't have to worry about being mild for fear of losing their senate seat. We also need someone who has some balls to say the things that have to be said. There is NO COMPROMISING WITH THIS ADMINISTRATION!!!!! You cannot compromise with them. Plus, it would serve as a reminder that Kerry was right and W was wrong when shit starts hitting the fan.

He has millions of voters on his side. We need a great leader. He can be that leader. He can hold * accountable. He and we have nothing to lose. Call them on everything. Hold their feet to the fire. I would like to hear him say that the fight has just begun. Let this be the beginning of the next election. Fight, Fight, Fight, now more than ever!!!

4. I think it is protocol.... |
|
in congress that the Whip is next in line for minority and majority leaders. They would have to break protocol but I think this time it is NECESSARY! We don't need a moderate who is going to be humble in fear of losing his seat in the next election.

Now more than ever, we need a leader. Why can't John Kerry be that leader? He has millions of us on his side. He can hold * accountable. Call him on every damn miscalculation he makes. I say we continue to fight Blue against Red. I am not ready to give up. John Kerry we need you!!!

Where is that leadership now, when we need him most?
He's a quiter, not a leader.

Kerry will be like Galadriel from Lord of the Rings, go back to being the lady of the lake, or in this instance, the quiet man in the shadows of Ted Kennedy.
Kerry doesn't want to be Minority Leader anyway. And he wouldn't be a good fit for it.
(a) He's not especially well-liked in the Senate. (b) He's not influential. (c) He'd be a constant reminder of a losing election. (d) He's not an attack-dog.
We need an attack dog in this roll as well as someone who can bring people together. It's an odd combination and one that Kerry's not suited for.

10. Reid just won 61% of the vote |
|
I think his seat is pretty safe, and I doubt he has very many elections left in him.
