Please, Please....Call them RADICAL Fundies from now on! |
|
Don't give a "cute" name like "Fundies". Very cute and sounds Harmless. Called them Radical Fundies......cause that's what they are. Remember that language is what killed us in this election. Radical "Values"....not just straight "values" is what these Radicals voted for. Radical, radical, radical, radical, radical.....
REPEAT AFTER ME......RADICAL, RADICAL, RADICAL, RADICAL, RADICAL!
From this point on when you write or say Fundies or Fundamentalist Christians....don't forget to add Radical right up front.
If you don't get into the habit now.....you will be sorry.
Also....call the Judges Radical Activist Right Wing Judges.....
Don't let the Repubs win the soundbyte war!
Got it?

if there is no consistency....the label will never stick. It's about deciding what it's going to be and sticking to it. IMO, Radical has the negative connotation that Republicans recognize. That's the whole point!

This is not a "name them" contest....this is about speaking their language. Radical has an established sense to it that the Right has used against the left for years. We use their own word against them by labeling them to describe as counterweight to the Radical Left. Just like they demonize Michael Moore, we must demonize this movement of theirs.
Consistency--staying on message is the key.
Radical Fundamentalists will make Evangelicals not want to be branded as such. Take the pride out of their movement.
Think about it....and start using the label....NOW!
