Media trying hard to discredit exit polls, and exonerate electronic voting
Check out these articles on MSNBC as examples:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6408755/
(totally ignores many on-the-ground voter reports of DRE problems)

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6408569/site/newsweek/
(starts from assumption that vote count was correct first time & from that concludes that all exit polls are unreliable)

3. This is correct methodology
starts from assumption that vote count was correct first time & from that concludes that all exit polls are unreliable

Results validate or invalidate polls, not the other way around. To assume otherwise is to turn scientific method on its head. Besides, the few concrete points the Stone article makes are indisputable. The exit poll samples consisted of 59% percent women. That's just wrong and everyone knows its wrong. You can't possible hope to get an accurate exit poll if you can't even get your sample set in line with reality. That's just common sense.

4. I noticed that on election night. They stole eliminated any accusations..
of foul play. When some reporter on MSNBC said that exit polls gave * 51% approval, I knew right then that we wouldn't win. Remember they had been saying that the incumbent gets the same amount as his approval ratings. They kept declaring over and over that the problems anticipated with the electronic voting didn't manifest. They gave * cover from any calls of foul play and recount requests.
