2. That actually made me feel better
It made me hopeful to see that the tipping point is very near top. The color actually tends toward blue in many red areas. Yeah, I know it is about trends and this is a snapshot, but it looks better than the other county maps, which are less subtle than this one.

3. The cable news channels need to be called on using the
more divisive red/blue map. They are so part of the problem. Those channels I believe are actively seeking to create the same kind of conflict in society in general they do on those reality shows. Remember that movie "Brasil"

5. INCREDIBLY SIGNIFICANT DATA!
This demonstrates BOLDLY those states that need to be targeted for battle!

Arkansas
Arizona
Alabama
North Carolina
Iowa
South Carolina
New Mexico
Nevada
Colorado
Tennessee
West Virginia

All of these are extremely winnable in 2006 if we target House and Senate seats carefully and deliberately!

13. It is nonsense
Another poster shows 45% of Shrub votes are from blue states

43% of Kerry from the red.

We need to convince people to see the light no matter where in OUR country they live.

14. observations
shows major cities went blue dramatically.

Shows sections of job loss correlating with "blue".

also interesting is the red, many are very isolated areas.

(and just blame PCB poisoning on Ohio and Indiana :))

No real newspapers, no real TV and they can't afford cable/satellite,
very low Internet access penatration and usage.

Looks surmountable with education frankly to me.

I am always shocked at the ignorance of the American people and since
major media barely covered the truth...

I mean most of the newspapers in this area just do not ever run stories like the NYT does at all...it's all glossed over, white bread news.

so, it is possible they don't know.
