I plan to boycott Christmas
I plan to boycott Christmas and hit these people where it counts--the market. I plan to spend my money only on necessities until the Republicans make certain concessions to the 56 million voters who who have just become marginalized.

I want the Republicans to back away from their plan to kill what remains of the Democratic Party through doing away with the legislative filibuster; I want the Republicans to back down on their plan to create a "parallel constitution" through passing legislation that is removed from judicial review; and, I especially want George Bush and Dick Cheney to say that they misspoke and that they do not really have a mandate--I would like them to acknowledge 56 million consumers who did not vote for them.

I think all Democrats should call for a domestic economic boycott today--I understand that a boycott will hurt us all, however, we must not forget that if these fascists have their way we will all hurt more. And besides, I am sure the president will beg the Republican voters to pick up the slack and spend more this Christmas--thus, ironically, spending themselves into bankruptcy in order to keep the economy going.

We Democrats have asked ourselves how best to frame the debate and direct the discussion I offer this as the answer--Let all 56 million Democrat/consumers boycott Christmas.
