blue voters in red States
This post is in support of all blue voters from red states. Don't let people try to push the blame on you it is not your fault. You all stood bravely against the tide of bigotry and proto-fascism. I know it is not easy to be a blue voter living in a red state, I know what is like since I live in Virginia, and I had to deal with crap from bush voters, for example, I already posted a message about this but, sidewalk advertisements in chalk saying that "Alqaida loves Kerry", that made me angry, I wasn't angry until then, because I couldn't believe someone from my own school actually felt that a Kerry vote was the same as supporting Alqaida. I took it really personally. You are probably had experience like this, but don't let it get you down, I admit that experience almost pushed me into cynicism, thinking that the Bush voters can just screw themselves, because they deserve who they voted for. I know now that that was very wrong for me to think that. We can not give up hope, we have to pull together in order to halt the course down the road to perdition, that Bush wants to take the country on. I finally accept the fact that saving the country is much more important tan my own feelings.

1. I'm a blue voter in a red state
It sucks to feel so alone! But I have some hope for my state as we did go for Clinton in 1992 & 1996. I do feel a little disillusioned with politics though. I guess Republicans felt the same way in 1992. But I will continue to advocate liberal ideas and vote, vote, vote!
