I think there needs to a huge move in the Democratic Party to get away from God. They need to reiterate the importance of the division of church & state and point out what happens in countries that not do so.
A little anti-fundie fear mongering is in order.
I am Canadian so perhaps you can explain to me why in the debates John Kerry & George W Bush had to go on at length about religion?
We had a Conservative leader who stated he believed in creationism & he was laughed out of his party.
Really, if Fundamentalist Religion whether it be Judaism, Islam or Christianity isn't eradicated soon,we are all goners & I don't happen to think there are pearly gates or 72 virgins awaiting me, so I would like to postpone my departure from this Earth for as long as possible.
