Investigating Election Fraud & Refining The Democratic Message Aren't |
|
two mutually exclusive things.
It is possible to talk about how the Democrats need to refine and improve their message.
It is also possible to talk about how this Election was subject to fraud much the same way the 2000 Election was. And by the way, there are many researchers who've documented that fraud USING FACTS. Greg Palast, for instance.
If it's proven after investigation that the vote counts, as they stand now, are fraudulent then however much the Democratic Message needs tweaking... that is essentially BESIDE THE POINT TO THE SUBJECT OF WINNING 2004.
If fraud can be proven to have just happened, and if Kerry won with only 1-3% then that is GOOD ENOUGH.
Yes, it would've been nice to have had the PERFECT MESSAGE and Kerry got 65%... but you know what, An incumbent 'war-time' president with a lapdog Media is pretty hard to beat.
The GOP has EVERY reason to keep Democrats from investigating Paperless E-voting and the potential fraud... and to make those who are pursuing this very real possiblity look like "conspiracy nuts".

2. You're right. We can do two things at once |
|
And we need to do both. If they can keep stealing elections it isn't going to matter what our message is.
