California said they have 5 million absentee ballots not counted yet.
Aren't those going to wipe out bush's entire PV???
Do absentee ballots not count towards the PV?

there are other absentees that haven't been counted in red states. Also, absentees tend to trend Republican.

That seems very high. I wrote down the California figures on election night and it was about 10 million votes. The state registrations only total 16.5 million. That would be an unbelievable turnout, 90%.
I don't expect the final difference to change much. In 2000, the GOP talking heads were insisting Bush would overcome Gore's popular vote lead via west coast absentees. Instead, it went the other way by a few hundred thousand. This time, since Bush did about 3.5 points better overall, I think it will be close to a wash.
