"Let the investigations begin...."
Remember that? Remember who said that?

Little Ken Starr, upon Clinton's re-election in 1996. One of the first things out of his mouth.

So I have this to say about bush: let the investigations begin. I don't give a shit HOW many Dems are in the House. I don't give a shit HOW many Dems are in the Senate. I don't give a shit HOW right wing controlled the media is.

Let the investigations begin. Let his life be misery. Let his second term be PURE HELL ON EARTH.

Screw unity. repukes have made ZERO, ZERO attempts toward unity. bush the least of all. Remember when all those millions of people marched against the war in Feb. 2003? Maybe you were one of them? I was. He called us a focus group and said he doesn't listen to focus groups. And I said "I'M AN AMERICAN AND A VETERAN'S WIFE!"

He didn't care.

He has done nothing but sow DIVISION in this country since the moment he stepped foot in that fine public house he squats in.

Calls for unity are NOTHING MORE THAN AN ATTEMPT TO SHUT DEMS UP.

Don't fall for it. Not for a second. You've got nothing to lose, no undecided voters to woo, no good behavior because we've got a candidate on the line.

Nope, it's on like Donkey Kong.

Remember, anytime you hear "we need to come together" or "unity" it means "WE WANT YOU TO SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN."

Don't do it. Make so much noise, Democrats, that they can't even hear themselves think. Make noise like the White House was stolen, because it was.

Let the investigations begin.

P.S. I don't care about fundies, I don't care about the youth vote, I don't care about how to better understand bushies (I already know them a bit too well), I don't care to shoot myself in the foot, I don't care to navel-gaze over the campaign for weeks on end. I don't care about "what went wrong" I already know--the election was STOLEN. Everything else is academic, people.

It's on. It's on.

2. I agree. If we can't have confidence of fair elections, then our Diebold
results are no more "Democratic" than some dictator-for-life's 99 percent vote returns, and Democracy is well and truly dead in America.

I had a friend call me this morning in tears. See, she's in her 30s and had NEVER voted. I had convinced her, because she hated bush, that it was important to vote. So she registered for the first time ever, and she voted for Kerry.

When she called me this morning, she said she had just got done reading several stories about possible voting fraud. She said "What's the point? How do I know my vote for Kerry even COUNTED?"

How could I answer that? I choked up, too. How, indeed?

If we don't get this fixed across the board, democracy is dead.

Do you even KNOW me?

Thanks for the laugh anyway. No, I am a flaming liberal and this is exactly how I feel.

11. What is wrong with what she is saying? And what do you propose is
a better alternative, aside from just trying to ridicule her?

6. WTF are you talking about. I've read a ton of Moonbeam's posts.
If you are trying to say she is a closet Repub trying to make Dems look bad on this board, you are WAY off base.

13. I know, I know
just some how, some way. Maybe from some participatory journalism such as what we have done here at DU. Maybe from some other source. Something so big it HAS to be paid attention to. Maybe from within his own party. I don't care.

I just think Dems should give as good as they've been getting as this point, know what I mean?
