Can the religious left do everything the religious right does?
Create their own Voter Guides and videos (like the opposite of the rightwing "Faith in the White House") and distribute them to churches across America?

Send sermon suggestions to ministers across America?

Whatever else the religious right does?

1. i think thats a great idea.
Contrast the fact that R's look to the word of Paul, while D's look to the word of Jesus. Note that Christ is Jesus' last name, not Paul's.

These voter guides could ask- What would Jesus do? Lie? Kill innocents? Help the Rich on the backs of the poor?

Jesus is our guy and Paul is theirs. Ask Christians why listen to what Paul said about Jesus when you can listen to the word of Jesus himself?

4. I will be here fighting these fascist by any means
necessary! We all need to work together to take back our country. I bet with a little research and the help of others on here we could write a very good religious voters guide for Dems. Just concentrate on the word of Jesus and how it contrasts with Repug 'values.' They are most definitely at odds!

3. NO because
the left beleives in their heart free will and allowing a person to chose their vote without the threat of hell backing them. so the very basis to getting out the vote by the fundies wouldnt work for the left. it works on the right because of the cult like sheep like creation. the left allows a person to have independent brain. so no the left cannot will not do the same as the right

what the left needs to do is shame the right treligious, convince them they are not being jesus like and shame them to back off on this. and we do have the grounds to do this.

5. I went to Dr. Kennedy's church in
Ft. Lauderdale a while back. Place was packed and Dr. Kennedy was spewing hatred the entire serman. Pretty much told everyone in the congregation that liberals were evil and to be exterminated. Sheep are being brainwashed right NOW! (it is sunday morn!) We need to combat it with Jesus' own words before everyone is a sheep!

People can have free will and also the truth about Christ! Show 'em that Jesus' own words contradicts the Republicans at every step!

6. Yes they could, but who is the leader?
I know there are getting Organized, cause I have read stuff about, but I don't know who the leaders are. What is happening to our country is just flat out a Religious War. And its time for us to fight back.

8. I believe this too
I'm a liberal Christian.

I'm tired of liberal and/or democrat being cast as the anti-Christ. It's wrong. I am a democrat BECAUSE I'm Christian. And I could not in good Christian conscience vote for Bush.

We can counteract them!

Here is a good article on how I believe, and this is where we need to start.

10. They control the agenda.
The biggest problem as I see it is the institutions that produce and project their zealots. The Liberty and Jones Universities are the training grounds. These already brainwashed individuals are reinforced and programmed to go out and spread the word. Unfortunatly it is not the word of God or Christ, but the word of B$$$ and Rove. Independent minded people are not subject to the same conditioning and do their work as Christians not as Republicans. I don't see any easy answers even though I would like to see activism on their part. Black ministers have been more active along these lines because their congregations suffer more social restrictions. It seems the only activism on the part of most white ministers is in the anti-war movement.

11. We cannot confiscate brains at the door......
We believe in the inherent goodness of God's creation. And we believe that are brains are not just to keep our ears from bumping into each other. And every new scientific revelation just shows us more of the magnificent complexity of God's universe. And each person must look within to discern his or her own relationship with the eternal and that the teachings of Christ can guide us. (note: not Paul)
