4000 SA-7 Surface to Air missles missing in Iraq? Confirm?

Just learned that 4000 SA-7 Surface to Air missles are missing from Iraqi inventories ... my family and I will stop flying as of this moment.

The SA-7 is a shoulder fired anti-aircraft weapon whose high explosive missle locks onto the hot exhausts and engine compartment of an aircraft. The SA-7a has a slant range of 3.6 km with a speed of about 430 meters per second (Mach 1.4). The SA-7b has a slant range of about 4.2 km and a speed of about 500 meters per second (Mach 1.75).

I have seen few reports of these in use. Which leaves a
mystery of sorts.
