Would Paper Balloting Make Much Of A Difference?
If someone could go in and change 50,000 votes from a machine, couldn't they also just print out 50,000 paper ballots to go along with it?

I mean, its not like they're going to call back everyone who voted and ask them to come in with their ballot receipts.

I don't see how we fix this problem with a paper trail alone. Isn't the only option totally doing away with touch-screen machines alltogether and just go back to those 1950s style machines we use up in New York?

They're not pretty, they're huge, but they work (as far as I know).

Is there really a good solution to this, at all?
