It's PROPAGANDA. A lot of our threads are talking about Dems learning to manage the message as well as Republicans do. Cool. Great.

But let's be clear. Republicans aren't just spinning. They aren't just engaged in public relations. They aren't even just controlling the message.

They have been and ARE engaged in full-out, classic techniques of propaganda. They communicate FALSEHOODS AND LIES and communicate them in ways designed to elicit fear and hatred and demonization of people unlike them.

It is time to begin using the correct word, pundits.
