I told her I'm a Democrat and support Kerry and that I believe that the election was stolen again. She nodded and started to cry. She's about my age mid-fifties. We talked for a bit exchanged emails. I sent her links and offered to give her copies of all the DVD'S I have re: Iraq, 2000 election, Kerry's Long Journey, Bush's Brain, Outfoxed, etc.
This was her reply:
"I have seen Fahrenheit 911 and I also bought a copy for the local library. I haven't yet seen the others, though I want to -- would be happy to get them.
I get a bunch of newsletters -- Allen Roland, Moveon, Truthout, Alternet, FAIR, From the Wilderness, Michael Moore, Tom Paine, Indy News, Daily Mislead, True Majority, Daily Blog, Interfaith Alliance, ACLU, People for the American Way, ACT, Vote to Impeach. Sometimes I can't begin to read them all -- I read the most important ones and forward them to my friends -- they depend on me to get the news.
