CONGRESSIONAL Divorce Statistical Question
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 11:51 AM by funkybutt
Here's a challenge for you DU: I'm trying to determine the number of US congressmen/women in the US that have been divorced. Not the currently divorced number, but the number who have ever had a divorce. A seemingly simple question, but the stats are elusive. House and/or Senate. Both parties.

On Edit: Responses don't have to be totally complete. Any input is appreciated.

2. Well, there is one I know of
the holy Matt Blunt from MO, in a top leadership position, recently divorced. They forgive their own for anything and everything--it is only the rest of us that they want to control.

4. The best advice I can give is this link
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/house/full.list/

It will take awhile, but you can click on each candidate and see their current marriage status. It will say if they are divorced or not. If they have re-married, then yes we won't know based on that page. But I was surprised at how many GOPers were divorced when I made my list for the entire breakdown of Senate and House by state and regions by power. By the way, the South has the most Electoral votes, Senators and House members for those that suggest we 'give' up on it. Oh, and we control 40% of the seats in the South. A great place to give up on.
