My new GOP slogan: Morally bankrupt, Fiscally irresponsible

We need to use terms like this every time we talk or write about them. We need to label them with negative terms and phrases so often that people begin to think of the GOP in negative terms. It will take a while but it will work.

It worked for the GOP, it will work for us.

Here is a good article by Chris Bowers (scroll down) showing just what these people believe. It should be, as you say, the way we now discuss it.

Real conservatives value fiscal insolvency, including irresponsible tax cuts, corporate giveaways, massive spending increases, huge undisclosed pork-barrel spending projects hammered out during congressional conference, rather than actual budget legislation on the Congressional floor that is open to the public and recorded in the public record. You know that conservatives value these things, because these are the things the vast majority of self-proclaimed conservatives do.

We need to use negativity against the GOP as consistently as they have used it against the Dems over the last ten years. It doesn't happen overnight so the sooner we start, the better.
